Kubota is working to achieve carbon neutrality through its engines. In addition to improving the fuel efficiency of engines for industrial machinery we are proceeding with research into the application of alternative fuels.

The P2 hybrid system offers the ability to switch between engine drive and motor drive while in operation. Operators can switch between engine and motor drive depending on the application.

The D1105-K engine is capable of complying with the latest emission standards (output of below 19kW) around the world, including the most stringent of China’s national smoke regulations, Category III.

For some applications, high load is required for only a fraction of the total work time. With the P1 Hybrid Engine, the motor only assists for the brief periods in which high output is required.

The D902-K engine saves users of our current engines from the need to develop new machinery to accommodate changes in dimensions and/or structures of said engines and is capable of complying with the latest emission standards (output of below 19 kW) around the world.

The Kubota Micro Hybrid (P0) Engine has a simple design with three main components: a DC converter, a lithium-ion battery, and a motor generator attached to the existing engine model.
